Will he turn out to be the architect of his own misfortune

Listened to this in podcast form today. Blew me away. What a case. Unreal to quote @Tassotti

Theres another fascinating case in italy; the case of emanuela orlandi, a 15 year old vatican citizen who disappeared over 30 years ago allegations of communist spies, vatican sex parties, involvement of mafia and banda dalla magliana (they even opened the coffin of il dandi to see if her bones were there)

That was a very interesting listen. It’s like something right out of the Danish show ‘The Killing’. Because this case interested you i’m uber confident that you’d like that show @briantinnion.

Your confidence is not misplaced. I’m a massive fan of Saga and Martin.

+1
Watched the Bridge last week. Brilliant stuff

I’ve been watching The Bridge and have found it very enjoyable. Are the same two cops involved in the Killing.

Both are separate shows with separate main characters

@briantinnion making a tit of himself yet again

Have you seen The Tunnel? The BBC/Canal+ version of The Bridge. I saw it before I watched The Danish version and the Danish The Bridge is far superior

Back on topic, an uncle of mine is a retired cold case detective and recently released this book…

He basically knows who’s killed these women but they just don’t have enough evidence. The chapter on Larry Murphy is chilling in the extreme.

Haven’t seen it. I’m only half way through the bridge. I presume once you’ve seen one you know there’s no point watching the other?

You’re watching the better version in my opinion.

Is it who we all think it is?

No, he never mentioned your name at all

That review doesn’t tell me much Scrunchie. Can you reveal any more details?

Yes

That book is out a while isn’t it? I seem to recall him on the Late Late or some similar show discussing it?

Touché

But seriously, was it LM?

in the absence of scrunchie answering you, as far as I know the book only came out late last year maybe November or December, so not on the shelves that long.
