Missing Women in Ireland

Ok I’ve read the first chapter re Annie McCarrick and the story put forward about her disappearance seems very wishy washy - a lot of holes in the story

Some, not all, would suggest so (allegedly)

There are as many ‘covering your arse’ clauses in that than in an accountant’s opinion.

And just as worthless legally as an accountants opinion

Go on mate.

The more you tell the less books @Scrunchie 's uncle sells.

Apart from mine on music.

Fuckin hell…how many of these sick bastards are there out there? I worked for a bit up around South Kildare, near Carlow border around 2009. He was like a boogeyman figure around there, the neighbourhood kids would be kept in line by their parents (not to be going down by the canal etc. as LM was seen down there one night.)

It’s the double life that amazes me. He is such a monster and then can act normally around his wife and kids.

Like Juhy.

Well basically it said Annie went out for a walk the evening she went missing and only planned going for a short walk on a March evening according to what she had told friends - then the book goes off on a mad tangent by saying a bouncer swears he saw her in Johnny foxs pub that night, walked in on her own and some stranger offered to pay her in - the book reckons this guy was a Hit man for the ira and went in to the pub chatting Annie up after he paid her in - the book reckons that Annie was mad into the whole irish thing with her being a yank so the ira Man played up to this to impress her and the drunker he got the more stories he told her about his ira activities to impress her. Realising this wasn’t impressing Annie and realising she might spill the beans on him he decides to kill her. He had a car parked out back so he offers Annie a lift home which she accepts so he tells her to meet him out the back while he goes for a piss as he didn’t want to be seen leaving with her (eventhough he apparently spent hours hours just the two of them in the pub drinking so imo why would he be worried about been seen leaving with her? And how gullible would Annie have to be to accept a lift home on her own with an ira man who’s just after telling her about his murderous past? And why did Annie show up on her own at Johnny foxs pub when it had never been in her plans?)and apparently this guy drove her towards dublin mountains and strangled her on the side of the road dumped her body in a ditch, came back the next day with a few ira buddies and buried her up the mountains

ffs

Why would he pay her into a pub you can go into for free?

You were around the Dublin pub scene in 1993 yeah?

There was a band playing there that night and they were charging 2 quid on the door, the bouncer who is witness to all this said the IRA Man paid the 2 pound each for them

Yeah, getting the luas home too

Why so defensive?

@TreatyStones may be on the cusp of solving yet another crime.

I hope the next chapter is not a load of wank like the last - Jo Jo is up next and if Larrys name isn’t linked at least I’ll be rightly pissed off
Was sad what happened Annie McCarricks parents afterwards - they ended up getting divorced and father died relatively young not long after, a tragedy like that a family would never get over, there’s some monsters out there for sure

Bouncer sounds dodgy.
