More Rugby Shame

Brendan’s 110 metres high hurdling duals with Carlow’s TJ Kearns was another sporting highlight of the 1980’s.

Hopefully Judge Martin Nolan won’t go too hard on Brendan.

In fairness there is a big difference here with what appears to be a timing issue with payments compared to a fella bating the head off another lad outside a nightclub and fleeing the guardai

All the same I wouldn’t like to have a guilty verdict hanging over me and awaiting sentence from Judge Martin Nolan. He could do anything.

Surely you couldnt jail a man as stylish and polished as Brenny Mullin

Where would you find a cell good enough for him.

He has a bit of form alright for tough sentencing on white collar crime.

Brendan Mullin one of the last great Irish players of rugby’s amateur era – The Irish Times

always loved watching him

was Brenny Olympic standard?

If he was a kiddie fiddler/rapist Nolan would give him a suspended sentence

Don’t know why but this gave me a good laugh this morning.

The Sunday Bidness post weekly email opened as follows;

Dear reader,

From the US electing Donald Trump as president again to the conclusion of Brendan Mullin’s trial with a guilty verdict, it’s certainly been a very busy week at businesspost.ie

Two obviously comparable events, one a global historical turning point and the other Donald Trump’s victory.
