The courts have said that Romany Gypsies and Irish Travellers are protected against race discrimination because theyāre ethnic groups under the Equality Act.

No mate, it definitely is, because I donāt actually really think what I wrote in my last post, I was using irony to ridicule the views of people like you who genuinely perpetuate discrimination by generalising against a whole ethnic group based on your ingrained, inherited prejudice which you donāt have the intellectual capacity to recognise.
Thanks for clearing that up. Have just read up on it myself. Very interesting. I always thought it was just plain old ādiscriminationā to hate on travellers. Turns out it is indeed racism. Iām living in the blissful dark ages when it comes to PC matters. Must be why that woman scowled at me last year for offering her my seat on the train. Fool me onceā¦

You perceive it to be preconceived. I said itās based on my personal experience of interactions with travellers. You canāt speak as to my experiences, however much you like to pigeon-hole others.
Is it racist to say that the vast majority of travellers Iāve dealt with are scumbags ?
