Comparing wearing a skirt to somebody wanting to be recognised as a cat rather than a human does seem quite a leap - an attention-seeking, cat-like leap, one could say.
Anyway, I thought the Batman series had that whole humans as cats thing covered decades ago, and nobody objected then.
I guess you could say Julie Newmar and Michelle Pfeiffer were pioneers of human-feline inter-species recognition.
Thats whats known as a transracial person. Seems to be a few of them popping up at the moment. This yoke was pretending to be a black woman for years but is getting dogs abuse in the States now. .
I don’t know why that in this day and age that you can’t link your email address to your debit or credit card and just have receipts emailed directly to your email for stuff like contactless payments.
Many shops provide this for larger purchases but you need to input the email adress at point if sale. Makes perfect sense to link email to the card and not that difficult you would think. Great idea
I have noticed lately that prices in shops are different on the shelves than when you scan them in. I don’t know if this retailers genuinely making mistakes or if it is way to rip you off. Went into my local supervalu and got an item that was €3 euro on the shelf when I scanned it in at the till it was €4.20, had to call the person looking after those tills over to tell them the price was different, she had to go to where the item was on the shelf to check the price and then come back to correct the till.
Shops in petrol stations are notorious for this especially on soft drinks and shit like that. I did give the benefit of doubt to the shops thinking that the folks changing the prices are only doing it on the shelves and forgetting to update the database that the till is using but it’s happening a lot now in most shops that I am beginning to think it is a bit of a scam, how many customers will question the price on the screen when there is a queue of people behind them and pay the difference versus the fucker like me that will tell them that the prices are not matching.
This drives me mad also. Depending on what staff are on duty I’ll ask them to scan the item. E.g. Confectionary item, €3 on the shelf, scans at €4.50. I’ll just say no thanks. Won’t have that. I’ll walk away and leave it on the counter.
However I’d be a regular in this shop and won’t do it to the pretty staff.
maybe, I just checked my emails and I have three receipts from Schuh over the last 18 months and have yet to receive on other email from them re promotions, offers, marketing etc.
They have to match the price on the shelf no matter what excuses they give. Another one that pisses me off is when the offer price is actually on the item and when you scan it in its a different price, this happens in petrol stations more than anywhere else and the person behind the counter looks at ya like you have 2 heads when you say the price is wrong.
