Doubt they will. Even if they are, they will probably get off with no more than a caution (if underage) and a suspended sentence if not.

Actually, what would be more effective would be to strap these type of folk into the things you see in films about the medevil times and place them in the town square…then let everyone have a punch, followed by a few eggs and make them walk naked home.

Public justice was rather effective at belittling those who stepped out of line and making them keep in toe with society, plus it saves a lot of money. I’m not a fan of Shariah law (but the punishments are okay just they rarely match the crime, sometimes there isn’t one) but were it’s implemented(mostly Saudi Arabia); crime rates speak for themselves.
