Well as an admitted drink driver i can tell you things are a lot clearer, ive heard of, and believe scenarios where lads ran over pedestrians but were so drunk they didnt realise it, go home to bed and everything after it. But this was unfolding right before his eyes, he might have been hazy 30 seconds before that but the crash would have woken him from his stupor, and he took flight.

Correct that’s the reason he cited at the time.
And since then he has taken coaching job after coaching job, attended junket after junket, appears on the Sunday Game and still has time to chair expert committees tasked with finding suitable candidates for managerial positions. Oh and the guest speaker thing.
Why was he in the Dail today out of interest relating to the Billy Walsh thing? Has Sheedy turned his expertise to boxing now as well?
