My old lad was similar. He died in the middle of a ward. He didnāt have medical insurance but you would have thought they would have given him more dignity.
Iām kinda glad it happened though that way. There were no airs or graces to him and going to a private room would never enter his head had he been watching someone else go through it.
I felt really sorry for the patients on adjacent beds. Some of them only had minor complaints and listened to a man dying all night with his family around him and all that goes with it.
