More Things That Are Wrong, just plain wrong

If they are involved in coaching rugby etc. Fee paying schools would have a lot more funded posts of responsibility that would be paid out of fees. These are posts that would not be paid for in non fee paying schools and in fact are probably being done for nothing in said schools.

There is a culture in fee paying schools that people wont do x without getting paid x, imho.

Isnā€™t that why people send their kids to private schools? A better education provided by teachers. Tax payers money should not be used for those that donā€™t need it.

The quality of teachers is pretty much the same regardless of whether its fee or non fee paying, from my experience.

Parents send their kids to fee paying schools for a whole host of reasons. Access to better sporting facilities, greater subject choice, to mix with kids from a more desirable background, access to better supports if child has specific learning difficulty etc.

Ffs Fenway thatā€™s like the time Cardinal O Fiach suggested that people were joining Sinn Fein for the crocheting classes.

Took me nearly 4 hours to get home tonight. Bad accident on the M1, @Chucks_Nwoko you may have seen it on the news, 2 people dead.
https://www.smh.com.au/national/nsw/traffic-chaos-after-fatal-m1-crash-near-mooney-mooney-bridge-20180731-p4zupo.html

Itā€™s something Iā€™ve come to expect, that from time to time Iā€™m going to have to put up with it. But jesus, drivng slowly in the single lane open on a 3 lane freeway past the cast of Emergency personnel thousands, the accident investigators taking their measurements under high powered spotlights, the crane to move stricken vehicles,
this felt particularly bad. I was totally spooked though when I passed the truck with the cab burned out, the car lodged underneath it burned out and two cars either side of it burned out. Fucking hell.
I donā€™t know how the Emergency people do it.
The whole scene scared the shit out of me, someone who thinks nothing of driving over 1000kms in a week.

They have these stories every year. Most of the costs are nothing to do with school. You have to feed and clothe kids whether they Go to school or not. Schools save parents money as they donā€™t pay for childcare while kid is in school.

It was more a general pop at how government policy is shaping society. Itā€™s a sad indictment that such a high percentage of parents have to borrow to send their kids back to school. The spinelessness of government to shore up tax inefficiencies at the top tier of society to welfare waste at the lower tier means those that are trying their best to get-on in life are left to fund those that donā€™t need/deserve it.

They could try taxing mncā€™s maybe 2%

If they can afford to repay the loan why didnt they save upfront??

If you canā€™t afford children, donā€™t have them.

I donā€™t know as Iā€™m fortunate enough not to be in that position. However if I was and my child needed something I hope I ouldnā€™t go to a loan shark or whatever but thatā€™s missing the point. Itā€™s the numbers that are borrowing. Thereā€™s no generic answer for that.

pity you didnā€™t take that stance back in 2007

You have very strange and backward views on poor people having children.

Work in childcare cases and youā€™ll come around to my way of thinking.

And by the way rich people can make just as bad parents but the CFA donā€™t go knocking on those gilded gates.

I highly doubt it. You appear to want to withhold money from poor children.

You appear to want to put children into the hands of poor parents leading to huge societal problems later.

Fucking hell!!!

There you have it from Art, poor people having children leads to huge societal problems.

Fuck me Art.

Poor parents i.e. bad parents.

Not impoverished parents. Try not to be permanently offended then you may actually gain some perspective
