It’ll be handy enough for Davy I suppose…
Is this a confusing sign or what? Four arrows on the sign, four lanes. But the left one isn’t for the left lane.
Local knowledge I suppose.
Signage is for what comes after it, not 50 yards before it.
Motorway sign posts in Ireland are very poor versus what you would see in a country such as America with a history of multi lane highways.
It’s always been a confusing one yeah. Grand if you’re used to it but I can imagine people ending up in the slip road to the left by accident.
Twice it has happened to me as a passenger.
Yeah, it’s easy to get caught out if you’re texting
Just do what every other culchie seems to do, pick the wrong lane, then veer violently into the right one at the last moment without looking
Every time I drive through here I often wonder/snigger about all of the folk coming up to Dublin who are not used to it. It must freak them out as it is misleading in fairness. Ideally you need to know where to position yourself in terms of lanes well in advance of seeing the signs.
Trying to get on to the Long Mile after coming off the N7 is a great challenge. I always manage to be in the wrong lane but everyone is really. Fucking joke of a junction.
Fucking roasters can’t handle basic interchanges
The very thought of the Red Cow rattles them
Youd think while sitting at the bar in there ating lasagne and chips they could look over and figure it out
Some of them must be expecting to see grass growing down the middle of the road.
I’d hurling training in Dublin wan Christmas a few years back. Headed back to galway after and was so tired I missed the utterly appallingly posted side road off the main Dublin to galway motorway which is actually the main Dublin to galway motorway, whilst the main motorway itself petered out an I ended up in a farmyard somewhere in roscommon. I went in to ask the farmer where the galway Road was. “jays, tis not easy from heeyur”
Stick on the hazards and it’s grand
The Navan road junctions haunts my soul
Can we even trust the penalty points system to determine bad driving?
Well Donegal having the lowest is proof you can’t
