Motorways driving

The pressure sensor went off when I started the journey and I pulled in and re-filled the four tyres. I didn’t see any damage on that tyre but there was a shuddering in the car yesterday evening when I was arriving in Athlone so there must have been some flaw in it

It was a fairly serious blowout to damage the bumper like that, thankfully your all okay.

He could have pulled over anyways at least

Those go faster tyres are a divil

€1200 seem an excessive amount of ooft for new bumper panel, mudguard, undercover and reflector lens?

Sounds about right, I’d have thought more tbh.

Is that new bridge in New Ross open yet?

Google gives me nothing, @Fagan_ODowd

I got rear ended some weeks ago. Hardly any damage to the naked eye but €3,200 of damage. Bumper gone, bumper reinforcement damaged…Impact blew head rests and seat belt too. You could buy a car for €3,200

As in the airbags?

No, head rests blew out and wouldnt go back. Seat belt system broke too. Well that’s what the car told me.

Some time this quarter is as much as I know.

Must have been some bit of a dunt you got so

What are you driving?

Was due to be opened the third week of January, but nothing been mentioned since then. It’s done and ready, so not sure what the delay is now

I’d say someone spotted the dodgy support on one side of the bridge. Bit of a blame game / stand off underway.

January 29th for the photo opportunity for Leo with the election looming. Makes sense now the prolonged delay. Open to traffic on the 30th
