What’s the JFK Arboretum like these days? Haven’t been there in years. Handy from the new bridge.

A heavy toll

They’ve made some meal of the M7 works
Officially opening on the 30th.
It’s an ill wind and all that…
only seeing this now. We like going there with the kids. Would get an OPW pass that works in a load of places so handy during summer when weather is fine. Its a nice big park really, just nice to walk around in and spend some time and chill out. We’d bring the bikes for the kids too so they can cycle around the roads in there without fear of any traffic around. Playground there is pretty good too for kids and cafe is serviceable if not spectacular. It would be a little over 5 minutes drive from the Stokestown exit on the bridge to JFK park.
Anyone heading southbound on M8, bad crash at Urlingford exit. Fog is desperate.
EXTREME CAUTION LADS
Bridge was opened earlier this morning. Happened to be around the area so went over to see how long it would cut out. 2 minutes exactly from exit to exit on the crossing, same journey through the town would be about 15 minutes with no traffic, and a heap longer when tailbacks are there.
Wonder how much it will cut the journey from Glenmore to Enniscorthy?
Is there a toll?
the exit at Glenmore to go over the bridge continues on as dual carriageway to just before Clonroche and just after Clonroche there is a new dual carriageway which brings you up to north of Enniscorthy town and joins up with the M11.
Opens a new gateway for a few hurling men anyway, quicker access for the Kilkenny and Waterford men to get over to Wexford and get their few pound.
Is there a toll?
Only on the environment
no. Only toll anywhere nearby is the Waterford bridge to Cork. All the way up to Dublin is clear on both the M9/7 and M11 until the M50 toll.
Ye must have good politicians down there and in Cork. Toll on the tunnel here in Limerick.

Came down the M11 toWaterford tonight. Got from Dublin City Centre to the Bridge in Waterford in 2 hours 30 minutes despite leaving Dublin at 4.30. That bypass around New Ross is unreal. I really wasn’t expecting it to be that quick.
How long would it normally take you?
On the M9 I’d get from the Red Cow to the Bridge in Waterford in 90 minutes with no traffic. On a Friday evening you could add 30 minutes to that. And 45 minutes to get from where I was in the South East of the city to the Red Cow.
There is a massive change in the camber in what is a really steep incline too.
I’ve never driven across a Bridge like it.
Such a short bypass but it saves a load of time.
Not specifically motorway but:

That particular stretch of road around the quarry in Buttevant is lethal for a main road.
