Seems like madness to be planning a motorway when you can’t travel across a county boundary
Shur is that not what ‘planning’ is about? Finding a need in the future and solving it now.
I realise this is altogether a foreign concept within Ireland.

I often go that way way quicker particularly in the evenings if going to that side of cork. Turning at rourkes Cross and going killmallock to kilodorry is quicker too depending
Motorway from Mitchelstown onwards sure, and you’d be coming in the right side of the city for Mahon.
Being from East Limerick, that would be our road to Cork anyways. I’ve rarely travelled the horror show that is the N20.

That’s a nasty enough road.
The N20 is bad alright. I suppose the Foynes development is driving the route to the N20.
Its not the worst. Great for time rather than cutting across the North of cork city
You wouldn’t make much time up going by kildorrery. It’s a nice drive though.
Coming from the dunkettle its worth 20 mins to get to Patrickswell. If I was going into the city I’ll go up to hospital direction. N20 and getting across north of cork city are both a massive pain in the hole

Might be quicker and cheaper if they used the last public consultation they did
Someone needs to check to flow to the taps in the (male) jacks in Obama Plaza. It’s unleashing water all of a shot once you put your hands beneath the tap

It is utterly bizarre for any other route to be even contemplated really.
The road to Cork isn’t the road to Cork. Back roads to Mitchelstown and then motorway is the only job
You could go up to Mitchelstown by Kilfinane as well. Grand quiet road.
It began on the Galway city bypass 30 years ago.

Not sure exactly what you’re trying to say there. Mallow or Michelstown?
NIMBYism has kicked off on the M20 purposed pathway. I’ve seen a change .org petition from minister Community concil and a few signs saying no motorway around bottlehill in cork (replacing the no to wind turbine ones). Great country.
