I witnessed a fatal crash caused one day on the M8 from a lad doing the same

Funnily enough, I find it less stressful than cycling because you are out in the traffic stream, not having some loon welly past your elbow at 70kph

I don’t think dangerous is the correct phrase as your man must be oblivious.

Have to drive to Portlaoise today. Any checkpoints on motorway do any of the limerick posters know? I know there’s one returning on m7 just before Cratloe turn off but what about other direction?
Was stopped before tunnel a few months back

I went down a couple of weeks back and there wasn’t a checkpoint to be seen anywhere along the M7, even the one at Rathcoole was gone. Have done little driving since - dunno what the craic is with checkpoints atm, are they usually in the same spot or are the guards varying them up a bit?
