Dogs have an awful habit of running across in front of me when I’m being tailgated. Careful enough not to slam on the breaks but I’d always slow down in case there were more.

Came up the M9/m7 there this morning. Turned onto to the M50N at Red Cow. Traffic backed up to the junction so took the M50S instead and exited at Ballymount and had a jaunt through some of south Dublins less salubrious suburbs. Northbound on the M50 was like a car park. 3 car collision at J7 Lucan including a rollover apparently
It’s fast becoming a road to avoid if you need to get somewhere fast and on time.
The amount of incidents on it now are a joke and there’s zero enforcement on it. I’d say it’s five years since I’ve seen a speed van on it.

I’ve seen an unmarked car pulling speeders on it a few times. Never a van though, and I’d say you’d want to be driving fast and dangerously before the unmarked car paid much attention.
I wonder if the traffic is too dense for a van?
I’ve seen speed vans on it - was one there in June or July but it’s not speed as much as lads deciding they need to change 3 lanes to get to a junction at last moment.
There are crashes on it a few times a week now
I think it’s the busiest road in the country so any impact will cause huge disruption. Not sure how other countries manage it.
