Motorways driving

Some F1 heads on here - never got a point. Benefits of living in a 15 minute city

Lunatics. It’s all motorway now between the big towns and cities and you will spend more time looking in the rear mirror than ahead of you with cunts coming up behind you. And on the country roads you can just forget about it let them off.

Once I got down to zero in 2021 I said to myself that’s it, no more points. I’d often be coming in the Clontarf road which is a long straight road with a 50 kph limit but always riddled with the Gatso vans and there’d be cunts coming right up behind me flashing the lights trying to make me go faster. Pass me inside or out, knock yourself out pal but I’m not getting points because you mistimed your run into town. Then they’d pass me in a triumphant manner like Barry Kelly dishing out a yellow card to a Kilkenny hurler circa 2009 and a couple of minutes later they’d be one car ahead of me at the lights at Alfie Byrne Road.

Yeah I religiously follow the limits now. Even when most are utterly pointless.

I was travelling in the N4 at Liffey Valley over the weekend, approaching the turn off for the M50. I was going straight ahead towards town. I was in the fast lane as I was overtaking a slow car. I looked in my rear view mirror and a car was coming like a train behind me. I sped up in order to overtake the car quickly while your man was tailgating me and got out of the fast lane as quickly as I could to let your man go. He stared at me as he passed me and then proceeded to move across four lanes and into the lane turning north onto the M50.

I don’t know what to say sometimes with these clowns.

I petulantly gave him a toot as I drove by him on the way into town.

I was on the M7 a couple of weeks ago about to exit and this lunatic undertook me on the layby lane and headed up the same exit as me. About 5 minutes later he overtakes me on a straight stretch forcing other cars to stop and let him through. I thought I’d see him ploughed in to some poor innocent car further up the road but luckily no sign. Shit can of a boy racer.

I was driving into Geashil (regular country road 80Km limit) last Saturday. Noticed a car coming up in my rear view mirror. While watching ahead of me I noticed erratic movements behind me in the mirror. The lady driver mounted the ditch on several occasions and was veering out onto the on coming lane upon correction. On coming into the 50km limit in Geashil she almost rearended us twice. She turned off at Geashil village. Very scary. Obviously drunk.

Stopped at lights a few weeks back, about 3 in the day. Cops pulling an auld one of at least 65/70 years of age out of her car at the lights as she was absolutely plastered drunk.

They’re out there still

An elderly woman like that fond of the gargle drank in my local.

She was 75-80.

She got twisted and into the car to drive home. She inevitably ditched it but had the quickness of mind to get into the passenger seat and claimed the driver had absconded. She got off as well.

The M50 has gone ridiculous. Can cunts not drive at all. Joined at the airport exit last night and was 40 minutes getting to Finglas. Collision apparently.

Tonight I wasn’t held up but I could see that there was a tailback all the way from junction 7 Lucan back to the red cow and beyond because of another collision and then the N7 was backed up from the Red Cow back to Citywest because of yet another collision.
