You probably haven’t a clue what sign he gave you. The “pull in over there” and the “stop” sign supposedly look very similar when you are approaching the speed of light.

It was slow down … and I did and then it was a finger pointing to the side — you can see by the pic that the fucker was on a fork in the road and no hard shoulder — to what and where was he pointing? It was careless police work and he could have killed me and others behind me.
If he finds you and you’re hauled into the courts, I’d expect him to argue that you were going too fast to stop safely. Which kind of works against you.

Once you got away you should have immediately reported your car as being stolen. Not that they’d go looking for it then.
If he does find me and it’s his word against mine then it doesnt matter a fuck … I was down to 60 by the time he pointed and yes that was right on him — but again - I dont know what he was pointing at and didnt feel safe pulling in on a bend in the motorway on the inside lane with no hard shoulder.

It all depends what sort of thick cunt he was, or what was coming up behind you. If another fella arrived to get collared, he might just chuckle and let you off.
If he’s a thick cunt and got your number plate, you’ll have a bit of work ahead of you.

They’re there regular enough,was in much the same situation a while back, got away with it,60 km from then on,it’s a fucking ridiculous speed limit there almost impossible to keep to it,I now put it into cruise at 60 (pain in the hole ) was it a guy in a bike? Saw him at least 3 times in the last 6 months

Yeah - guy with a bike. I’ve heard plenty comment that they are always there but in the 2 or so years i’ve been here i’ve never seen them… I’ve been keeping to 60 since but you’re right, it’s very hard to keep to 60 there if you are coming from Carrigaline direction and cruising at 100 … I think anyone that gets to 80 or slightly below should be cut some slack given how the speed sign comes on you suddenly around the bend and is only in place for a few hundred yards… like shooting fish in a barrel speed testing there.
