I always summed any base camp would be accessible via helicopter but that could be all wrong.

I’m proved correct as usual. The Cheetah chopper couldn’t have picked them up. Certainly not at that altitude. And certainly not both.
One of the girls gets off the chopper with her rucksack and ropes also. In fairness she gives a little stagger. Like the Russian crew that recently returned from space.
