Basically it was better when more of them were getting under (and over mixed at times) the counter payments from AIL clubs and keeping the levels of AIL up was the way to go. The IRFU and provinces got way too much power.

Students by and large I’d imagine. Most non academy still hanging around might be on 25-40 k. Enough to live on

Unbelievably shit atmosphere at Twickenham. Maybe a third full. Voices echoing everywhere. Thes H Cup semi finals really only need a ground with a 30k capacity.
