Munster final

Tony Kelly has had more ā€œquietā€ games than good games in recent years.

Another player who Davy managed to over achieve with. Kellyā€™s been at nothing since Davy left Clare.

When given space heā€™s still lethal - but easily closed out of a game ā€¦ But he set up the first goal did he not?

On that it was a disgrace that Reidy was able to play after assaulting Tom Condon in the last game.

I hadnā€™t actually realised the impact that Spillane had in the second half until the Sunday game made a big deal out of it, I was watching Oā€™Donoghue a lot, heā€™s a real action man, liable to fuck up and sometimes looks to ace rudimentary hurling skills but heā€™s a savage.
I donā€™t think anybody will shut Darragh down, he needs fuck all space and his engine is up there with the very best

I might watch the entire game back some day, it was that enjoyable

Spillane completely changed how he marked him. Watch it back

I donā€™t mean shut him down, arguably only Cillian Buckley could from either side. They will take him out. Hack him down

Highlight of the second half was watching that ā€“ Spillane got close to him and made sure Conlon didnt get out in front too easy, lotā€™s of dark arts applied.ā€” It took Clare until 60 mins to change it and by that time they had hit an amount of stupid wides and momentum was all with Cork. They started going for goals too early ā€¦ No leaders on the field at all.

Harnedy the complete opposite. Dragged Cork back into it after a very poor first half - Fitzgibbon is a joy to watch.

The only time I recall Shane O Donnell getting the ball yesterday was when Nash hit it straight to him from a puck out in the second half.

I think heā€™s fucking terrible to be honest, he has no hurling

To an extent he was invisible. At least Nash didnt see him

He handpasses to someone then and they hit it straight back to Nash from about 30 Yards out. O Donnell was taken off shortly after

He wil atick this up on the dressing room wall and stick 5 goals past Nicky in the AI final

And he made a balls of it. A pathetic shot that trickled back to Nash.

He has close to zero hurling. Didnā€™t even do his Team America thing of throwing his hands in the air to win handy frees either.

Oh I thought he handpassed to someone else and they took the shot. Iā€™ll have to watch it again

Nash picked him out with a lovely pass and he just went for the shot IIRC.

That busy little cunt Podge Collins wasnā€™t all that influential either.

Podge was nowhere to be seen when they were under the cosh, I donā€™t know if anybody did themselves proud during that second half?? Reidy maybe, Conor McGrath was busy when he came on

Alan Cadogan would be a huge boost for Cork ahead of the semi, heā€™d walk straight into the team and will make a big difference

Heā€™s back doing light training and was/is aiming for a potential semi but it might be too early.

Conor McGrath is a class player and Iā€™d be starting him every day, he did more in the first five mins he was on than Oā€™Donnell did all game.

Obvious now if you shut down Conlon thatā€™s half the battle with nullifying Clare. Even Duggan missed about three frees in a row at one stage in the second half.

And heā€™d still have little or no Hurling after if he did. Heā€™s a dangerous player with ball in hand who is a strong runner but letā€™s be honest he struggles to strike the ball anything further than 30 yards ffs

Duggan had a mental breakdown.
