3rd place in Munster plays second place in Leinster and vice versa. Provincial final repeats are avoided at semi final stage. Cork will be playing the Munster champions if they beat Kilkenny in a quarter final. The other side of the draw will see Dublin play Limerick for the honour of meeting Wexford. It will probably be a Limerick v Tipperary All Ireland final.

I wouldn’t see O’Leary as a weak link. He is having a solid year and a potentially very good hurler. Bounced back very well last weekend after a tough opening 20 minutes and fairly nullified O’Donnell second half and did an amount of tidying up while the rest of his defence was struggling.

O’Donoghue has gone back a bit though. Looked excellent in 2017 and the start of 2018 but his form has really tailed off.

Very unfair on Horgan . Ciaran Carey , Tony Browne or Ollie canning’s brilliance are not diluted by lack of a Celtic Cross .

Tipp by far the better team. This Limerick side have very little natural hurling in them. Tipp by 6 or 7 points
