Munster Rugby - We DID start the fire (Part 1)

They need you more than ever this weekend. If you could drop a few bob behind the bar there as well, that’d be great.

I’ll do my best, but it won’t be my hard earned I’m dropping. I can guarantee you that :pint:

They won’t care whose money it is mate. Enjoy :ronnyroar:

Ah lovely. Christmas has well and truly come early. I hope a stand collapses on @Julio_Geordio.

Twould be an ease to me

Where did Gerry say this?

The IRFU are going to have to write down some of that loan to them in 2017 anyway.

Should have sold off the Thomond name while there were multinationals willing to piss money up against the wall.

30-50mm of rain forecast for Saturday, they won’t even give those terrace tickets away and they are trying the cunts.

They are fucking dire. The out half was so bad the crowd cheered when he was substituted. In fairness Conway, Zebo, Earls and Murray are players. The the rest of them are dung.

That road between Limerick and Cork will seem even more grim than usual for them tonight. Roadworks at buttevant will add to their misery too.

Hope you enjoyed your night @Julio_Geordio mate.

Head Coach is a major issue too

Big factor alright.

Inability to pacify/keep Hanrahan was unforgivable and i get the feeling he lost some lads then and arguably buying power in getting outsiders in. This getting back to the “old Munster way” and dismatling the good work Penny had laid was a huge mistake. They just look like a confused team now.

The restrictions on internationals has gone to silly levels though and there is no need for the rest thry are given. I believe they only have Murray for 3 out a 13 game streak for various reasons. You cannot build a team that way.

In fairness O’Hanrahan was right to head for the hills if Keatley was getting in ahead of him.

Caught the end of this on the radio. Heard the big cheer when Keatley went off from the greatest supporters in the world. Haven’t seen the likes since Canice Brennan was replaced in Nowlan Park against Limerick in his brother’s last game as manager.

Thats the point though. Dreadful judgement. You have to wonder did the IRFU have something to do with it.

I’m no rugby expert but from a long way out you could see Keatly needed serious help with the mental side of the game. He was always very brittle. And i don’t think they invest too much time or money into that side of things so it made absolutely no sense.

We just don’t like confident individuals in irish field sports.

At least Keatley and Canice got a cheer from their fans. Wasn’t Brian Cody booed by Kilkenny ‘fans’ at the homecoming after they lost the 1978 final to Cork?

Its only 60 odd miles from Limerick to Cork. Think of the poor Man U fans making a 250 mile trip from Bournemouth to Manchester. Actually there’s probably not too many of them travelling to Manchester.

Allegedly spat at. I can’t confirm this as I was only a few months old at the time. I think he has denied it ever happened. He was dropped off the panel for a while before gloriously returning as captain outfoxing JBM in 1982*

*I’ve no idea when he was called back on to the panel but he was winning captain in 82
