Its reasonably accepted view point that has not been denied when people asked the question. IRFU involvement was significant anyway.
I have known people in Munster for years, rarely discuss anything of note. I donāt really ask and they wouldnāt really tell.
I see Munster were seeking an Events And Fan Experience Manager recently for their dwindling fanbase

The Munster Branch are broke, I imagine they would have been instructed it and not the IRFU who arenāt.
Mumster are the irfu though, all the provinces are.
They are in effect subsidiaries with seperate management.
The IRFU negotiate central contracts, not provincial ones. Hanrahan wasnāt getting a central one.
If Hanrahan was from Ulster or Leinster finance wouldnāt have been as big a deal as they arenāt broke like Munster.

The cruelest cut yet-Foley getting a new contract.
It doesnt matter a fuck who the manager is. They could appoint God or Alla or fucking Santy. No players. No money. No silverware. Maybe if they moved Thomand to Martinstown, they might have a chance
Foley is shite though and that doesnāt help. The only proper job he did was as Irelandās forwards coach for a year. We got annihalated up front that year in the forwards and were hammered even by Italy. I think we possibly finished joing bottom of the six nations in our worst performance for years and years.
The following year Ireland won the six nations with a dominant maul and lineout with a different coach and the same forwards.

Id say OGara would chomp at the bit for the job
He just turned down Joe who offered him the Irish backs job so he must reckon thereās a decent job out there for him soon
He has it handy doing what heās at. Heāll trawl France for a few years picking up handy coin. Leo and Foley will be on the scrap heap in a year or two and O Garaās star will continue to rise.

Jackman would turn Munster around.
No heās not. I think we could be in for a couple of baron seasons on both club and international fronts. Money will be found at some stage and then heāll make his move.
I think someone like that might ya. A fresh mind, no emotional baggage, coaching in France.
Players are actually decent. When you see the ill-discipline they had the other night you know they lost faith in the coach. Discipline is one of the first things to go in these situations.
Munsters fall from grace has happened while a recession was in full flow, give it time lads. Theyāll be all guns again very soon.
