Munster Rugby - We DID start the fire (Part 1)

Iarbheo

The laughing stock of Irish sport.

Iar Bheo

I saw it, shocking.

He booted it into the stand though when it mattered - 7 points down to the Japs. That is something we can all agree we’re grateful for.

We got the vital losing bonus point.

I know, I was over the moon that morning. Ireland had finally arrived on the big stage.

So poor again last night. I’m already looking forward to Craig Casey, he’s Munster and Ireland’s 9 for the future.

Gavin Cummiskey agrees.

Just the 5 ex Balckrock alumni in the 15. Gav is opening his mind slowly

All day long. He’ll be 23 then, perfect

5?? Conway, Ringrose, Carbery, Doris - who is the other?

Lots of Michaels guys there too. The Spiritans must be the best order in the world for producing rugby players.

Id included Larmour in error. 2 x andrews as well so

We’ll have just the ten Leinster lads on the Ireland team in 2023. 1 token Ulster fella out on the wing where he can do as little harm as possible and 4 Munster lads 2 of whom are Leinster rejects and 1 of whom is a South African reject.

Is rubby dead in Munster?

On its last legs it seems.

It’s a fair point but I wouldn’t argue with too much of that team. Guys like Baird, Casey and Doris are there more on potential than anything but that’s kinda the way these things go. Reality is with the Leinster pipeline it’s hard to see the Irish team in 2023 being heavily weighted with players from there.
