Munster Rugby - We DID start the fire (Part 1)

Didn’t they?

Christ even though we lost I’d do anything to be heading out for a few pints in Dublin City tonight. These are awful times.

He’s a right pain in the hole. Pretty sure when porter gave away penalty for elbow on Murray, toland was suggesting it should be a Leinster penalty.

This was the Pro12 (14) though

He’s as deferential to Leinster as Duignan is to Kilkenny

Leinster are have nearly 25-30 international standard players. That’s the level you need to be at to beat them.

Murray had no intention of going for that ball - it was well over his head. He was a blocker. He just looked a bit more convincing than Porter (who also had no intention of catching it)

Ben Healy and Crowley were the Irish 10s last few years. Both will see game time I’d say.

Hes not upto the level of playing leinster/sarries/racing or international. Munsyer have a few good players who are at the same level as him

Now will be at least 10 years since Munster won a trophy.

Churning out some amount of players alright. Could even afford to let players like Carbery, Conway, Jordi Murphy and Jack McGrath leave.

Is there a point , atte you suggesting you also thought it was a leinster penalty. Take off the goggles

No - happy enough it was a Munster penalty but it was soft enough. Like a lad being held in at a ruck by the opposition - Murray played smart

JJ shanked the handy drop goal to get out of the group last year. He then refused a pen to get a bonus point away in Paris when they were 10 points down. He is bang average, his passing his kicking, vision, nothing about him. But the biggest issue with him is that he shits himself every time there is a semblance of pressure.

Shouldve played Healy.

Let him loose in new season, give him a chance they have nothing to lose

At intl, Healy only got back into the the fold at 10 when the.younger Byrne got injured. He’s come on miles but that Byrne is miles better footballer.

Healy I think is too much of the old style and that game has passed. He’s a brilliant kicker from hand and ice cold off the tee. But in terms of creativity with ball in hand, he’s not rounded at all.

There’s a paucity of natural flair that’s been drummed out of the system far too long.

Got to, got to, got to move on from a few of the lads tonight now…otherwise they need to move on from the manager

Healy would e given them the chance tonight at least, that was negligent really from JJ.

The other lad does look a star though. Imagine he’ll be fullback when Carberry comes back and Daly will compete hard for the wing spot where Earls will age out
