There is no chance that story is true. An agent doing his job well, Helay is going out every week putting his body on the line and probably on ā¬60k a year for it. No better time to go looking for the big contract, if he gets it signed before he is tested in European competition then all the better.

Iām sure the Scotch would take him in a heart beat and will happily play the role to get his contract boosted up, on the off chance it might work. Chap could have his career finished the next day on the pitch so heād be silly not to be looking at options if the IRFU are doing the bollox.

The Scots donāt have two pennies to rub together, and the only position they have some quality in is at 10. Hastings is only a young lad and plays 10 for Glasgow, and was starting there for Scotland when Russell had fell out with the international team. Glasgow wonāt be spending money they donāt have on a lad who is completely unproven, but the IRFU canāt take the risk of losing another lad from Munster. Hope he gets the big contract he is after, it can be a very short career.
