Betts was let go end of last year and is now back in England playing part time iirc. There was a few Irish lads playing for Bury St Edmunds in nat 2 last year on cash. Money can be made but you want to be able to travel.
So would you imagine itās easier to get a job where theres a load more jobs and money than in the place where there are fewer jobs and less money?
It would be there abouts in France but you may get caught out if a club goes broke

There are approx 95k rugby players in Ireland and 4 professional teams.
Tim Ryan has been coaching Highfield for last 3 or 4 seasons and playing no 8ā¦assume he has a job as well

Doncaster offered contracts in January 20 between covid and the RFU cuts they didnāt have the budget and cancelled a lot of them. Betts was one Danny qualther who played with connacht and Nottingham was another guy who was in the same boat. Hes back in ireland with a job
