Munster Rugby - We DID start the fire (Part 1)

Cleaning out the sheds is passƩ these days. Fair play to Kolbe anyway.

Should be using reusable bottles @Little_Lord_Fauntleroy

Rubbish everywhere on the Thomond Park pitch these days.

Did CJ ever win a game with Munsters then? Is that what theyā€™re called, Munsters? Very confusing for the casual observer.

Former All-Black Jerome Kaino must be trousering fair coin from those Toulouse cunts. 37 years of age and still flogging your ass in the back row.
Fine player in his day but this smacks of desperation.

Heā€™s there a good while and still playing very good Rugby

A lot of then NZ lads from 2010 to 2015 who stayed there to play wouldnā€™t have earned huge money at all. Toulouse is his pension plan .

He was good today

Kaino went to Japan for a few years between World Cups and absolutely coined it in

Heā€™ll be kicking back on a nice pile of cash long before most of us have it managed

International players in New Zealand are poorly paid compared to what they can earn with clubs in France and England. The same applies in South Africa really but they have relaxed the rule about playing domestically in South Africa in recent years and are prepared to let some of their senior international players play in England or France.

The sabattical rule in NZ has had good success in keeping players there. Kaino did 2 years in Japan and it was probably as low intensity as he could have foundā€¦ So picked up over 1m quid and got a grand rest before kicking back into gear for next wc

Surely played into the longevity of that 2011 team. Carter and McCaw just took a year off didnā€™t they?

6 months Iā€™d sayā€¦ But yeah def added time to career

Carter went to France after 07 WC and got injured v early in season and only played a few games. He stayed in France though and perpignan actually won the league without himā€¦ Their first time in 50 years or somethingā€¦ That gave him a good break as well

Jean porical done the kicking I reckon

Anyone have a sub? Throw up the full article you loose hombres

Niamh Briggs blaming the defeat yesterday on Wayne Barnes. She was still gushing in her praise of the vanquished Munster team.

Apparently in some circles the current Munster downturn is purely down to the resurgence of Limerick hurling. All be it they havenā€™t won silverware in 10 years :man_shrugging:

Na Piarsaigh have killed Limerick rubby.

Typical munster answer its the refs fault. Beaten by a better team. Refs will never get everything right and everyone will feel agrived after a game. Its embarrassing thatā€™s always the excuse from munster. Toulouse were far better yesterday, should have won by more. Munster were lucky with Earls and Conway being very smart in defence and Coombes being a fucking animal to get 2 tries
