Munster Rugby - We DID start the fire (Part 2)

First title in over a decade for a start. Decent integration of younger players along with improved playing style over previous management. Reaching knockout stages of competitions. All with a massively reduced wage bill.

I don’t think he can trade on the title win for another season.

Last season was a massive cock up and you could see it coming from a mile off v Glasgow. Pure complacency.

Europe has been a disaster two years in a row as well.

He needs a big season.

Typical Munster fan nonsense.

How is it nonsense?

Huge game for Crowley and Casey too. The media is going to replace Crowley whether it be with Frawley, Prendergast or the best 10 in the Leinster senior cup.

He’d want to be stamping himself on this game big time.

Casey has a chance to cement himself as the back up scrum half for November.

More nonsense.

How?

Over a decade without a trophy and he wants to fire the coach that wins a trophy while overhauling the team in his first season.

Utterly delusional.

So you can’t contest any points so you just makes things up.

Last season was a disaster for Munster.

They utterly fucked up Europe for the second season in a row which costs the province a lot of money.

Similarly not beating glasgow cost them a pile of money.

The Leinster loss in Thomond last season was a disaster too.

There no building on the first season last season so you can’t just keep saying he won a trophy if there isn’t a lot of improvement this season.

Unrealistic expectations. Weaker squad but you want better results. Again, delusional.

Munster currently have two players in the squad of a standard to be starting internationals.

They have it in them to reach the top four in the URC and maybe reach a final, maybe get very lucky and win one. Qualifying for knockouts in the European cup is about the level of expectation, last eight would be doing well, reaching a semi would be doing very well.

Sure the results weren’t as good last season as his first season? What’s unrealistic? Beating Glasgow at home? In his first season they beat Glasgow away in the knockouts.

They had woeful European results. I’m not sure what you’re on but you’d probably want to go and look at them.

They should be guaranteeing themselves a home game in the knockouts and go from there.

Two seasons in a row they completely fucked it up.

Typical Munster fan delusion.

How is it delusion? They drew and lost to vastly inferior sides two years in row?

It’s literally simple to get home advantage.

Won a diddy cup but embarrassing in the serious competition. :white_check_mark:

Presides over a permanent injury crisis. :white_check_mark:

Follicly challenged :white_check_mark:

Munster are a laughing stock :white_check_mark:

More Munster big-headed delusion.

No it’s not.

The minimum expectations for Munster is securing a last 16 home tie every season.

The league should be top four at a minimum.

Last season was a unique opportunity for Munster in the league to bag a potential home final which would have been huge for the province.

It’s very unlikely we’ll get another opportunity like that again soon. I don’t mind losing but you could see the absolute complacency creep into the Munster set up in the two games previous to the Glasgow debacle which reflects terribly on the management.

Also the injury crisis is unrelenting now and is surely a coaching issue.

The last two European campaigns have been disastrous. Another season like that then rowentree should be shown the door.

You can’t even remember games from last season.

Once again, delusion. A team over a decade without without a title. A much reduced wage bill. Two Ireland starters in the team (same as connacht).

Delusional Munster fans like you believe they have some god given right to be at the end of competitions. It’s hilarious.

There is nothing about the end of competition.

It’s getting to the last 16 of a 24 team competition for goodness sake.

You claimed on any number of occasions that Synman was the best player on the planet and rowentree left him on the bench v Glasgow too.

Assume Leo and the brains trust will select a team of kids for this
