Munster Rugby - We DID start the fire (Part 2)

He had a poor start to the season but wasnā€™t expecting that

If ROG and Paulie have anything to them theyā€™ll step up.

Was about to post same, you were right. Presumably they promote Prendergast cause where do they get a new coach from. Still think itā€™s mad, squad is weaker but somehow better results expected by Munster fans.

I suppose they have been on a similar trajectory to Man Utd.

You called it kid

Me neither. Not sure what any other coach would have done with the lack of front row resources in particular.

I hope they have a plan but id guess an interim structure now on the cheap

Agreed. I didnā€™t see any clamour for change of coach . Iā€™d say there is a general acceptance about how weak squad is

A great chance for Munster to plan for the future by taking Pete Wilkins, highly rated by the IRFU top brass, down to Limerick. Itā€™ll be for the betterment of Irish rubby.

That was my view alright but @BruidheanChaorthainn knew better.

The job was too big for Graham.

Time for Noel McNamara to come home.

His ears didnā€™t fit.

Heā€™s completely lost the squad. Not sure who was responsible for the woeful signings.

Not picking younger lads too.

Heā€™s no loss imo. Iā€™d say a decent fella but I couldnā€™t be having a prop as a head coach.

Watching them against the last crowd in South Africa youā€™d wonder if they had ever had any defensive coaching

I heard Leinster are going to extend the hand of friendship and send a few academy coachā€™s down to look after the Munster first XV

Surely ROG takes it

If you were Oā€™ Gara, you wouldnā€™t go near it. Theyā€™re awful. Theyā€™d drag his name through the mud when his stock has never been higher.

Think the same. I doubt heā€™d jump mid season and leave his current job anyway. But even if he would, for what, to take a terrible job. Could they even afford to pay him as much.

Rubbish. If he has anything to him, he will go back there and put his shoulder to the wheel. To not do so would be tantamount to treason.

You get ROG in there, and the private investment will flow.

Oā€™Gara canā€™t be far off an international job which Iā€™d assume thereā€™s more money & glamour attached.
