Munster Rugby - We DID start the fire (Part 2)

They’ve a nice group of young players and things are very low.

It’s a great time to take over.

I think he has done a great job.

They haven’t a hope of getting Rog.

Paulie is the one to aim for

And have the fans with unrealistic expectations turn on him the way they did on Foley

Oh they can get him. Just won’t be till next summer.

Bad decision by Rowntree to cut synman loose while retaining Kleyn.

What younger lads should he be picking? I thought he’d been pretty good at bringing in younger players like Edogbo, Quinn, Campbell, Gleason.

And rowntree.

Felix Jones at a loose end?

Don’t think fans had really turned on him at all

They haven’t the players, simple as really and they let 2 international class lads leave in the summer; didn’t replace them and all the main guys are two years older from when they won the league. Also, all the good uoung lads like the Edobos and POC’s nephew are injured. What exactly are they expecting? Centre, wing, up front, there’s holes everywhere. Calvin Nash, Casey and the centre from Connacht are the only lads that have shown anything this season.

The likes of Archer is trying his best, there was a lad playing left wing last Saturday that is so far off it its untrue.

You could see it last year. They were playing terribly. They’d a unique opportunity to win two leagues in a row and in a full Thomond park.

It would have been huge. You could see the poor dip though. Beirne said training was woeful.

These are tell tails signs. You seize these opportunities.

I think Munster have a good future under the right manager.

No. He has a very long contract too would be a massive exit payment

Def a bit of low hanging fruit there but you’d need to sign 5 or 6 front rows

With Farrell gone to lions not sure IRFU be up for that

Did the fans turn on him?

@BruidheanChaorthainn did anyway.

I’d always support my teams but I just didn’t rate him. Lost a lot of faith when he couldn’t keep Ben Healy.

End of last season was woeful and two European campaigns were disasters.

I’d say it was coming. Munster fans are savages. They’re not real rubby men like us - they are lads from Feakle, Nenagh, Kildimo , Tarbert and the likes…no rubby background
