I doubt thatâs true. Particularly seeing as Tommy OâBrien is made of glass and can barely make it through one game uninjured so this would fit into that pattern. Unfortunate because he looks electric when heâs fit. Youâd have to question if his body is able for professional rugby.
Ireland is crying out for an out and out pace merchant as an option so a pity Tommy canât stay fit. Balacoune has dropped off the radar and Aaron Sexton didnât kick on either
Tighthead is one of the highest paid positions. What class of a tighthead would Abrahamâs salary get you? Any better than what Munster have? Better than Jager? I doubt it. Why would the irfu sanction a foreign signing in a position where Munster currently have four Irish qualified players? Same on the loosehead side. You want Munster to be allowed recruit their way to being competitive. Anyway itâs a hooker they need.
Munster have one good winger. They have four irish tightheads. One recently signed who is a decent standard for Munster and for the league, two older lads that are grand, and one fella whoâs always injured but they seem to see value in keeping him on in case he comes good. I dunno what they have in the academy. Signing a foreign player in a position where the cost would be absolutely huge when you have four Irish qualified players on the books is a nonsense proposition. Youâre delusional.
