Repeating yourself doesnāt really add much to the discussion. The clubs identify their candidates and have to get it approved by the irfu, not the other way around. Prendergast clearly thinks he is a head coach type anyway, you saying heās not without any knowledge at all or anything to back it up is nonsensical really.

They probably shouldnāt have appointed that fella. Very sad what happened to his baby, who knows about those charges but it wasnāt the thing to bring him in.

There was loads of scope for them to appoint former players but theyāve gone with their standard delusional approach that the next big signing will solve all their worries. Theyāre probably hoping theyāll get OāGara when he becomes free but he probably wouldnāt touch them with a forty foot pole.
They should have given it to Prendergast and then seen could they poach back flannery and or felix jones, that would have created some enthusiasm and strengthened the brand and identity side of things. (I realize they have a defence and forwards coach on hand but they could shuffle duties a bit Iām sure)
