Munster Rugby

Your putting awful lot of weight on rogs comments about Mike Pendergast.

Repeating yourself doesn’t really add much to the discussion. The clubs identify their candidates and have to get it approved by the irfu, not the other way around. Prendergast clearly thinks he is a head coach type anyway, you saying he’s not without any knowledge at all or anything to back it up is nonsensical really.

Sure you never stop quoting rog when it suits you.

No the irfu make the appointments.

Prendergast is the head coach of Munster.

Huh?

The IRFU make the appointments.

Mike Prendergast is the head coach of Munster.

Mike Prendergast applied for DOR / manager role which he’d no experience off. which is why the irfu didn’t want him.,

No, that’s all incorrect.

No it is correct.

Rownetree met candidates coming out of the meeting rooms in the aviva the time he got it.

I’m going to speculate Munster will be looking for a new head coach and manager soon enough.

What’s your point?

The replies are as you’d expect really

I’ve no idea of the ins and outs of it but assuming he’s totally innocent it doesn’t even matter.

It’s about perception and sponsors won’t have it.

Sex attack coach is it?

The fuck is he going to do anyway, teach Mike Haley to run faster? It’s about players on the pitch

Ah I’d say the coaches must have some influence?

I’m just frustrated. Team is looking more threatening in the hotel than on the pitch.

They probably shouldn’t have appointed that fella. Very sad what happened to his baby, who knows about those charges but it wasn’t the thing to bring him in.

There was loads of scope for them to appoint former players but they’ve gone with their standard delusional approach that the next big signing will solve all their worries. They’re probably hoping they’ll get O’Gara when he becomes free but he probably wouldn’t touch them with a forty foot pole.

They should have given it to Prendergast and then seen could they poach back flannery and or felix jones, that would have created some enthusiasm and strengthened the brand and identity side of things. (I realize they have a defence and forwards coach on hand but they could shuffle duties a bit I’m sure)

Would they?

Well a bad look or a consistent view that he might not be the man for the job
