Out of the country. If we were playing a serious team he would probably make the effort but really, having a go at cork is a bit like kicking a lad when he is down. it is really starting to feel like the nineties with a group of honest triers from limerick coinciding with a clare team of young stars winning the big one while the lads from the trad counties lament the low standards of it all
why are Clare making themselves such overwhelming favourites for this game can anyone tell me?
ok, im aware they have beaten us in 2 pretty meaningless games so far this year, we are not great and thats a pretty weak team we have out but i still cant see anything in the Clare team that is jumping out at me ( or from the performance vs waterford that was a terrible substandard game) that can justify the overwhelming favourtism that will shoulder going into this game.
I imagine itâs mostly because we have better young players and are not hoping for the best wit lads that people have cursed as often as praised
Youâre going to have to stop obsessing about me, you wonât sleep in the run up to the Munster final if we beat cork
Tony Kelly is out for tomorrow
