Correct. The added advantage being they were out on their feet at full time after that come back. Let Tipp do what they want. That battle has taken its toll on them as well

That was manic. The situation they saw themselves in at half time was serious backs to the wall stuff.

I’d agree with your analysis of the players. However attitude is the biggest thing. Callinan got about 4 good tackles in todaý. Bubbles was a least trying. The Mcgraths were immense. That work rate slowed Cork down coming out with ball with their heads up. It gave our backs a chance. However it needs to be repeated the next day out.

Momentum is a huge thing now.

Would have taken a point before the game. Lehane was awful. Joyce is a bombscare. Shocking skills in the rain, shocking from the management to watch the Cork backs get pulled everywhere for most of the second half. Only two meaningful subs brought on after all Meyer’s guff about building a squad.

Biggest worry is that both Clare and Tipp could / should have had 6 goals between them on both days.

I’m seething at Church still. He needed to make changes with 10 minutes to go, it gave Cork a chance to extend a lead and he could have halted even that by making a sub.
Young Browne has pace to burn & would have done a job MF.
Flynn should have been brought on a HT for Cahill who was being roasted & on a Yellow.

It isn’t much good throwing Heffernan, Connors, Flynn & Curran to the wolves when the lads brought in are performing every bit as poorly.
