The goal was about all Cork did second half⌠We had a few chances to get rid and turned it over.
Probably only two goal chances all game. Horgan buried his. Pat Ryan had a fresh air with ours.
Hopefully when Peter Casey returns our goal threat increases. Mind you as Galway showed last year if you rack up enough points it wonât really matter.
I would hope that Flanagan is encouraged to round his man and go for goal a bit more; heâs well capable. I know yesterday they might have liked to keep the scoreboard ticking over but a goal might have killed it.
Hegarty & Hayes didnât carry much ball at all yesterday really; thatâs another way youâd be hoping for the goal chances to happen. If they can burst through and create an overlap. As it was, we were happy to wheel outside and take the score. 28 points is exceptional scoring with only 14 men (although a very loose game, itâs hard to see the Leinster sides offering that much space).
Any idea on the Wide count?

These same lads won a home game in the first game. They have a nice young team but God Help they think theyâre in a Munster Final already and have booked their Banquet tickets already.

Heading off for Limerick with the young lad now guys, last chance saloon for Tipperary today. Full back line is a serious concern, not impressed with the management who after 8 league games of not playing him there decide Seamus Kennedy is a full back.
