That was a qualifier in Tralee .
A serious famine.
Iām hearing the umpire was from Mayo. Now it might not be true but it would explain a lot. They helped Tipp in 89 too.
It was, and we didnāt score a goal that night. Won 0-24 to 1-14 after a few late points from Niall Moran and Conor Fitzgerald.
Sunday is huge for Clare. Beating Tipp and in the process knocking them out could be the thing to really get them motoring again. They havent reached their potential in recent years and Sunday could be just the statement victory they require. That will be a belter, Tipp know a defeat mean curtains and Clare could potentially be gone with a defeat aswell.
Clare will lose Sunday.
This clears the whole thing up. ( well kind of)

The best analysis of GAA across any platform. A wonderful product from Woolie. Heās turned SportsJoe into a must follow for all GAA fans. Incredible.
Cheddar whilst not being the most exciting type of a fella is a wonderful addition, his love for the game and his hurling brain come through beautifully in each episode.
And thatās just Cyril.
Does cheddar wear the hat during the podcast?
Letās hope he monetizes it properly.
Iād say you could guarantee it.
Heās a great hurling man.
if the GAA had any sense theyād back him.
They donāt. Not even his own county will.
But if you ever see him and Critchley in a pub someday, fall in and enjoy the ride, some men for the yarns.
I love when he goes off on a story on the podcast.
He was on about getting the ferry below in Cork a few weeks back.
Critchley did part of his PE teacher practical training in Kilmallock.
You should pick up his book, Hungry Hill if you can. An enjoyable read, if a bit scattered in places.
How old is Cheddar? He was comparing young Flanagan to the great Mossy Dowling on the podcast this week.
