Leinster is grand Joe, itâs the Connaught lads that have skewed it altogether.
Great to have the AI champions in Leinster though.
Except for winning AIs, I agree, not great.
Its starting to come together a little bit more for Waterford. Theyâve got 10 of their regular starting 15 from last summer starting tomorrow. Jake Dillon has dropped to the subs bench and the absent Barry Coughlan, Darragh Fives, Tadhg de Burca and Shane Bennett are replaced by Stephen Roche, DJ Foran, Stephen Bennett, Tom Devine and Patrick Curran. Most of the replacements last week acquitted themselves well. Lack of defensive options shown up though by not introducing any backs to replace any of the three injured backs. Players just dropping back the field to plug the holes.
Iâd expect Waterford to give it a very good rattle tomorrow. Thereâs tremendous character in this group of players. With Limerick flying and having home advantage though its very hard to see anything other than a Limerick win. Iâd be surprised if the Waterford hammering that @backinatracksuit has predicted materialises. Then again @backinatracksuit predictions for Waterford to get hammered in every game are a bit like @Special_Olympiakos predictions for Tottenham at this stage.
East Cork bias.
Thatâs just not true mate, Iâm dissapointed that youâve gone that route,
How so? You predicted Waterford to be hammered by Cork in last yearâs semi final - Waterford won by 11 points. So far this summer, youâve predicted Waterford to be hammered by Clare, Tipperary and now Limerick tomorrow.
Iâm happy enough to take our chance with that team tomorrow. Lack of defensive options a worry ok but I thought both Gleeson and Brick acquitted themselves admirably.
Moran is an option to drop back also if needed. Dara Fives trained during the week and Conor Prunty will hopefully be available also so not as threadbare as last week.
Limerick by 7 or 8.
Good man, put your neck on the line anyway
As I said the Waterford v tipp game wasnât near the standard of cork v limerick last week in my opinion. Hannon back, extra days rest and home advantage added to the simple fact we are better 1-15 too. Limerick will win.
Limerick by 10
You guys could place a wager.
There will be fuck all in this game. The only way itâll be 7 or 8 is if we get 3 or more goals, we havenât even created 3 goal chances in the previous 2 games not to mind against 10 backs.
Theyâll fly out of the blocks, if we are there with 20 to go weâll kick on and wonât surrender any advantage like we did in Cork. 3 points max, either way.
Câmon the DĂ©ise. They deserve a bit of luck after being raped last Sunday.
Wasnât rape. Bonnar had his helmet pulled off though.
I was winding an English colleague about it during the week, he canât grasp the Gaa and ethos etc, so I asked him in the tea room if he thought it was a goal.
He said it was a clear handball and couldnât figure out how nothing was said about that ⊠the smart cunt.
Oh for fucks sake Harry
Iâm disappointed that a teacher canât spell disappointed. Actually Iâm not. I donât really give a fuck
Heâs not an English teacher mate, a bit harsh. Home Economics would be his forte Iâd say, teaching the girls how to make a proper soufflĂ©.
Iâve seen it all. Clare have two number 25s warming up
