Yeah. I got a few texts from the brother in law who was down at it and he was saying that Waterford were just flat from the start and once Shane Fives went off, game was up. Limerick can only beat what’s in front of them. They’ve been the best team in Munster by some distance so far.

Tipp could have won it, young Morris had the chance but it wasn’t to be.
Bottom line for Tipp is there isn’t the depth of quality there anymore. Clare’s subs tbf all made big impacts.

Sad way for Church to finish but that’s the way it goes. He has to accept responsibility for the full back line and that was a major problem during the championship.
Big names nowhere performing to their best either but not much he can do about that.
At least the lads gave it everything today, you can ask no more.

Hard to see where Tipp go now, have a feeling we’re looking at a good spell in the shadows.

Galway to retain Liam, they could very well be another KK of the Noughties.

Its bullshit in fairness, all the Tipp lads that played tried their best whether they’re playing 10 years or a few months. Tipp could easily have ended up winning that game by 6 points, that’s just the way sport is

This is the first time in a good few years though that he has been fit and in form? He adds a huge amount to them when he is.

That’s the first time since 2013 that Clare have stood up and won a really competitive game that was there to be won. All their championship wins since 2013 up to today have been either over minnows or over teams that weren’t at the races at all - Limerick in 2016/17 and Waterford this year. For all that time they’ve been like a Ferrari which is stuck in second gear.

They could well deny Limerick a Munster final place next week now.

Galway beat Wexford, Waterford, Dublin and tipp to win last years all Ireland. Wexford finished 3rd in Leinster, while the other three couldn’t even finish in the top three in their provinces. Galway are not as good as people think. Limerick, Clare and cork will pose far greater challenges to Galway than Waterford, Wexford and Kilkenny have.,
