Not having any home games is a serious drawback. 3 home wins and 1 draw from first 4 games. Did Waterford have input into the choice of Limerick as the venue for the Tipperary game next week? They haven’t won in Limerick since 1963 in the Championship and got an awful hiding in Limerick two years ago when they last met.

I’m not surprised. I was talking to a longstanding cork Gaa fan and he doesn’t bother going to the games anymore after the treatment of the legend jbm. All that he has done for ye and thats how ye treat the poor man.

how was JBM mistreated? He worked a minor miracle to get the team to an all Ireland they would have won if the ref blew it up when he should and then get a munster title out of them the following season. However the show was over after that hammering v Tipp in the all Ireland semi final. The second coming as manager had run its course and JBM knew it too.

There is no bigger Cork legend than JBM but I don’t see where the mistreatment is other than a small number of Cork supporters who don’t appreciate what was achieved in his 2nd reign
