You would think lads who have seen plenty of wins over the last 5 years could show the same humility as the team they support but I guess not

Jeez that is desperate. Was it how the medics were dealing with the other incident to say a supporter was doing the CPR. Did they have the defib?

I did that course before as part of a coaching thing. Well worth doing. You’d hope you never need to use it but would be a much harder thing without the defib

I hadn’t the angle to see and I didn’t want to be rubbernecking but on the odd glance I took I could see someone flat out doing compressions. When I saw they had stopped I thought the worst.

I was more shocked to only hear the siren of the ambulance just before HT. 30k plus in the stadium, I would have thought there would be one on standby in the ground

I’d say the matches are hard on auld lads hearts. I remember a man growing up gave up going on medical advice due the strain of watching galway blowing leads

I was fairly delighted to be sitting at the end of the aisle at full time as I stood there steadfast refusing to move watching the two apes cumbersomely trying to climb out over the seats in front of us to leave rather than
asking me to move.

Seeing the Clare fans/players celebrate like they won an Ireland was sickening…first win in Gaelic grounds since 1899 in championship fair play not even yer grandparents remember a victory in limerick saviour it…we are still ahead of ye on score difference in the group table but I didn’t want to say it to any of them, didn’t wanna ruin their night…

It does seem like we have lost our edge though…don’t think losing cian lynch made much of a difference as he was poor against waterford and today as well.

I would add to that. I got a free ticket from Clare during the week. Landed in and absolutely surrounded. I was thinking it would be a nightmare, but tbf they were all sound as a pound and no hassle.

Apart from everytime one of the Casey’s handled the ball they roared fuck off back to Meelick. And everytime the ref gave a free against they asked how much JP paid them

I think it was two incidents in 122 of the open stand within a few minutes of each other. Rory Hayes buried a goal in a short sided game and it hit an unsuspecting spectator 4 or 5 rows back in the warm up. Just before throw in then someone keeled over about 12 to 15 rows back, there was another spectator doing chest compressions on that person all throughout the first half, then an ambulance could be heard just before half time and someone was carted out on a gurney completely covered in those tin foil blankets. It didn’t look good

Limerick do a very very dangerous warmup across the field where they are shooting into each stand. Amazing someone hasn’t ordered Kinnerk to play this game down the field rather than across or else use some small u12 goals.
