Poor standard tonight. Leaking four goals to Cork is not a good sign.

If Limerick manage the break well and return to form they’ll wipe the smirk off a few faces.

It was very loose. Pat Ryan hasnt solved Corks obvious issues from the last number of years. I thought I would see a bit more from them tonight. Tipp’s backs looked as slow as a wet week at times too.

Enjoyable game excitment wise in fairness but it wasnt a patch on the Gaelic grounds last Saturday night. 4 goals conceded is septic really.

Tipp probably should have won it on the overall balance of play though, just about.

The Munster final in Thurles last year was a different sport to what was done today in PuC.

Look it was enjoyable this evening for what it was - a loose open game of hurling, but is there anyone going home on the bus tonight from Cork or Tipp thinking they’re on the right track this year to win the All Ireland.

A draw tonight is a real bad result for Limerick. Means they’ll likely have to beat Tipp and Cork, or at least get a win and a draw.

Even if Tipp do lose to Limerick they still have Waterford in Thurles which is likely to be a gimme and that’ll get them to five points and qualification.

Tipp beating Limerick in Thurles looks a live shout based on what we’ve seen so far.

If Tipp do win that, Limerick’s destiny would then be in Clare’s hands. Clare could effectively throw their final game against Cork which is in Round 4 to deliberately eliminate Limerick.

A slight snag in that plan for Clare is that they are playing Cork before Limerick play Tipp. EDIT: Had not seen you had mentioned this after
