That’s the truth actually. If he went down easier he’d get much less grief but he keeps trying to drive forward and the tackles get worse and more dangerous to the extent that he inevitably gets spun by the pull

It was a tug of the arm as he tries to get goal side with covering defenders. It was a foul/penalty alright but nowhere near as cynical. Don’t even think he got booked for it

In fairness, they often turn back into the man looking for the contact.

I thought Kelly did what any seasoned campaigner would do there. You can be sure Horgan or Harnedy would have done the same if roles were reversed.
You are a point up in injury time and they have a free to set up an attack and one of their players is more interested in being a pound shop hard man than actually trying to get an attack going.
Instead the free is overturned and Cork have wasted 45 seconds of their own time.
