The ref was the same for both sides. It’s so annoying the post match discussion in every game now boils down to the refs decisions.

I was about to say this. He seems to have dropped off a bit this season, that can happen, especially when he’s getting more to do as he most certainly is now.
Gillane knows if he gives it and takes it, it’ll work out in his favour much more than 50% of the time. He plays the odds.

It was a text book yellow in fairness. Zero attempt to play the ball and from behind the shoulder, over aggressive, it was a cynical/petulant belt. I don’t think he caught Fitzgibbon with it but it was a poor stroke
