You reckon that was a cynical and deliberate foul? I’d say he made enough of an attempt to play the ball with his hurl to get away with it - it will be a long summer if fellas are looking for black cards every time there is a foul inside the 65 yard line.

The question must be asked of Thomas Walsh as to why he gave the yellow to Seán O’Donoghue. What was it for?
A push is not a yellow card. If it was for careless use of the hurley, which it looked to be, it has to be a black card penalty.

It’s absolutely insufferable.
Hard to know what to make of Clare. I haven’t seen too much of them in the flesh before today. I was unimpressed with them today. Waterford did as they nearly always do, shoot themselves in the foot and gifted it to them. Clare are just massive. Don’t think they have enough hurling.
Taylor and a fit Kelly will help a lot. Our attack lads leadership without Kelly.
