Cork have blinding pace and utilising it well.
Wouldn’t have had any complaints if it finished a draw or if Waterford had managed to engineer the win. To their credit they never quit and I thought their hand backline and Barron were excellent in the second half, thought our workrate slackened off a bit in the second half, this was compounded by half a dozen really poor wides under very little pressure which meant we couldn’t stretch our lead. Waterford used the wind well and took some fine points working the ball until thise wide areas 30 odd yards from goal.
Duggan and SOD were excellent, four or five time in that second half Dug came back into his half to hook, block or turn over ball and relieve pressure.
