The goals they gave up they kinda didn’t deserve to win. Crinimal goals to concede. But Clare were second best for large chunks of it. Everything Waterford hit was going over in that second half

Tipp needed to bring this into the trenches . Last thing Cork would want is a physical battle after last week… the looseness of it suits Tipp in one way but they won’t win a shootout
The Limericks having kind of sneered at Fitzgibbon and that he wasnt a patch on their midfielders are now kind of in fear of his gears and will be highlighting the steps things with Fitzgibbon whilst they are both still in the championship. remains to be seen if Cork and Fitzgibbon will still be there at 6pm! Barrett also has the pace to unsettle the Limericks again if they meet later

If I had a forward like Connolly I wouldn’t bother telling players to deliver it in to anybody else.
