Munster Senior Hurling Championship 2024…part 2

Waterford will be more than happy with a 3rd place finish and a first round Robin qualification at the 5th time of asking.

Hard to see anything other than a draw in Limerick next week. Particularly with Cork looking the best team in the Championship now. Can’t win an All Ireland though if you don’t make it out of the province.

Yes, I didn’t say otherwise.
Tipp, by themselves, can’t eliminate Clare next week. It requires Waterford also winning.

I had to laugh at anyone on here giving tipp a chance all week. Cork were always going to ate them.

Cork have finally cracked it. Players coming out their ears and Joyce still to come back. They are absolutely the most dangerous team in it.

You either have it or you don’t.

Cork will win the all Ireland.

Tipps late comeback against Waterford
Clare’s late winner today and their later comeback against limerick have all gone their way

It’s written in the stars. That and they have the best forward line in country now and a defence that is getting better

I heard they were spotted there in the plaza in Tipp Town with a laptop and excel spreadsheet open on it…Davy had a bottle of Fanta and a packet of biscuits open on the counter in supermacs until one of the staff ran them for not buying anything…

Limerick have the most dangerous players, judging by recent summons

Should have been a black card/penalty combo earlier when TK was dragged down galloping towards goal, he had a worse angle minutes later and banged in a goal when left unmolested

A lovely bit of vindication for Mark Coleman. He was colossal.

I’m just leaving the Plaza in Tipp Town. It’s quite the sight. Thronged with Waterford fans and there’s been a good few Tipperary fans arriving in last 15-20 minutes or so. The mood is sombre and angry.

That’s usually the mood in Tipp Town in fairness😀

The Villa soccer crowd from Waterford have just arrived now too. They were beaten on penalties by some crowd in Limerick called Pike Rovers in the FAI Cup. They feel they were robbed too by a few hometown decisions.

That’s some collection of animals in the one spot .

Clare were absolutely brutal today, Waterford beat them off the park and can feel justifiably pissed off with the result, they’ll make Limerick battle for it next week,
Tipp didn’t have the legs for Cork, a good day for our lads, Tipp aren’t set up to defend against that pace at all, but I was worried enough until about 45 minutes
There’s much bigger challenges ahead if they progress from here

It’s some melting pot! There’s a busload of Carkies from Mitchelstown after arriving now. They were making a lot of noise that they’re on the march now and going to win the All Ireland. The Waterford crowd have been telling them that the draw is arranged with Limerick next week to knock out Cork.

So essentially every crowd of supporters here now has a gripe. Thankfully no Limericks here.

This sort of post never ages well as every big match ends up with the pitch full of supporters these days, it’s just the done thing

Noel, Bonnar and probably Dan Mc. Ronan only turning 30 this year I think.

It’s bleak but at least the minors and 20s are showing promise

Edit: Barrett will probably go as well.

No matter what kicks off you get a sense Tipp town has seen worse .
