We finished 4th of 5. That’s the reality of it. This gowl justified a disgraceful league performance on the basis that the championship was all that mattered. He should be shown the road and no more about it.

Looks that way to me also. I reckon the success ye had was despite, not because of him.
Waterford very nearly put out cork. Perhaps lacking enough quality from the bench caught them out over the series of games.
Not enough drugs or money to take on the cartels.
Flat enough stuff in Thurles - Clare did what they had to do, Tipp fairly ran out of ideas after the first 20 minutes.
Conor Leen was very assured at corner back and will keep his place the next day you would think. Conlon excellent again while our midfield were very prominent too.
Shane O’Donnell was superb even if he left a good few scores behind him. I’d say about 15 balls were hit into him and he must have won a dozen of them including a super catch when outnumbered 3 to 1 under a loopy long delivery. David Fitz workrate far improved
Quilligan had a couple of brain farts but got away with them. Tipp had zero goal threat with Morris at 11

Jamie Barron picking up Kyle Hayes was an interesting Davy match up. Was it 3 points Kyler scored off him before half time?
Limerick won by 10 points , having 19 wides, a clear penalty not awarded and still didn’t need to score a goal to win by that margin .
