Not wanting to turn this into a betting discussion but PP is rarely too far wrong on the permutations.
Anything is possible but no team has ever qualified from the round robin on less than 4 points
It’s not a stretch by any means
Tipp beat Waterford, Cork beat Tipp
Clare and Limerick beat them all
Ah I dunno kid. It’ll probably all come down to the last day anyway. It’ll be more clear after next weekend what’s what
If Waterford win tomorrow its an awful lot clearer
That’s where the -50 would screw you.
It’s not. Cos if Cork beat limerick next weekend, it throws it all up in the air again
Pretty sure it wouldn’t
Sure three teams on two points would come down to scoring difference.
Like you say, it will be a bit clearer tomorrow evening anyway.
Should I decamp to the ‘things I was wrong about’ thread?
I thought that the score difference only applies to matches between the teams in the tie break?
Scoring difference in the games between the three teams too - so last weeks hammering makes no odds.
No. Scoring difference only comes into play if three or more teams end on the same amount of points. It’s only if two teams end up on the same points that head to head comes into it.
Not unless you want to talk about airfryers.
2006 in a Munster semi-final. Waterford then avenged that in the All-Ireland quarter-final.
Munster Council didn’t adopt that rule for intercounty as far as I understand though the Leinster Council has but I could well have that wrong.
There will be nothing clearer until next weekends games
But only between the teams tied. Becomes a mini league if you like
Not for Munster Championship.
Look lads, do all the calculations ye want. At this very moment in time all 5 teams in Munster have a chance of qualifying and the same five may not get out of the group, The result between Tipp and Waterford won’t alter that tomorrow. It’s next weekends results that will make things clearer
